HuaWei E585 Access Point Name (APN) Settings for UK Mobile Networks

首先Huawei E585必须解锁。Huawei E585 默认网络是3，如果用其他网络上网需要设置APN。下面列出来APN设置方法。

• Connect MiFi to PC through USB
• Open 3MobileWiFi or Type http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar
• Log in Admin with the default password Admin

• Advanced Settings --> Connection Settings --> Profile Settings --> New

• Profile Name: anything (eg. O2-UK)
• Connection Number: *99# (not able to change it!)
• User Name: network name (eg. web)
• Password: network password (eg. web)
• Authntication: PAP
• APN: network's APN (eg. Dynamic or Static with entering the APN)
• IP Address: Dynamic

• Save it and continue

1. 安装镜像文件 Darwin_Snow.iso 到 VMWare的 CD机
2. 运行此虚拟机 同时按下F8
3. VMWare CD机里的镜像文件换成 Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 .iso
4. 按下c，boot DVD
5. 开始安装Mac OS X
6. 安装成功 + 重启
7. VMWare CD机里的镜像文件换回Darwin_Snow.iso
8. 开机设置Mac OS X

Nokia手机也可以有MiFi

最近在研究手机如何做MiFi，现在市场上的高端智能手机都有方法做手机终端路由器。比如，iPhone, Android。 网上有很多信息。但是对于普通手机做路由器的信息很少，而且都很复杂。 刚才终于研究出来了。当我进行测试之后，发现过程怎么如此的简单呢。


首先确定三件事：

1. Nokia S60 手机 （eg. E71）
2. JoikuSpot Light or Premium （http://www.joiku.com）
3. 确定手机卡有上网流量


通过手机可以进入Joiku网页，选择下载JoikuSpot 软件。在这要说明一下，JoikuSpot Light 是完全免费的。 但是有些功能不能用， 比如说网络加密，电池点亮临界点设置。 JoikuSpot Premium 就要收费， 其功能齐全。 个人觉得用不着。 下载后，自动安装。 过程中，手机会要求重新启动。 之后在手机上只要启动JoikuSpot， 会提示一些没用的东西，直接忽略。然后就是选择接入点，也就是手机卡本身上网用的网络。最后就是同意外界装置共享网络链接。 现在"路由器“”已经设置好了！！！

电脑上查找无线网络，很容易发现和一般WiFi网络不一样的图标，是一个电脑型的图标。其名字是JoikuSpot随机命名的(eg. JoikuSpot_123456789). 双击 然后 连网成功！！！

Sync. Nokia N97 Contacts with Google Contacts

Settings --> Connectivity --> Data Transfer --> Sync

Options --> New sync profile --> Start

1. Give any name in Profile name "Google Sync"

2. Select Server version 1.2 

3. Select only Contacts in "Applications in sync"

4. Type "Contacts" in Contacts database field

5. In Data bearer select Internet 

6. In Host address give https://m.google.com/syncml

7. Give "Google" in Server ID

8. Give your gmail ID in User name 

9. Give your gmail password 

10. Save this profile settings 

Options --> Synchronize

All contacts on the mobile are now synchronized with Google Contacts.
